Florida Blue’s Employer Markets division needed full editorial photography coverage of their annual Sales Celebration — a high-energy awards evening recognizing the company’s top sales performers across the state.
The night was tightly choreographed: a sponsored cocktail hour, a plated dinner, keynote remarks from senior leadership, a champagne toast, and an extended awards presentation honoring individual reps, Silver and Platinum winners, and Producer of the Year recipients. Every handshake, every trophy hand-off, every reaction shot mattered.
The marketing team needed coverage that would feed internal communications, executive recap decks, LinkedIn, and the following year’s invitation deck — all while keeping the on-stage program completely undisturbed.
We staffed the event with a lead shooter positioned house-right with a clear sight line to the stage, plus a roaming second shooter working the floor for candids and table-level reactions. Both photographers were briefed against a detailed run of show so no award winner was missed.
For the stage program, every winner received the full set: the approach, the handshake, the trophy presentation, and the posed portrait with leadership against the gold-and-blue sequin backdrop. Off-stage, we worked the ballroom for the moments that make a recap deck feel alive — the laughter at cocktail hour, the quiet conversations between awards, the toast from the stage echoed back by 300 raised glasses.
Stage lighting at corporate galas is unforgiving: deep blue washes, hard backlight, mixed tungsten. Every image was color-managed to look natural in print and on screen — and to look like Florida Blue, not like a generic blue-and-gold ballroom.
Clean, attendee-free coverage of the room — stage design, table settings, custom Florida Blue gobo lighting, and the signature gold-and-blue sequin backdrop while the lighting was at full program look.
